Greetings, Esteemed Visitors,

Welcome to the online virtual home of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated®, Beta Mu Omega Chapter! As the 43rd President of our illustrious chapter, I extend warm greetings on behalf of our extraordinary members. At Beta Mu Omega, we take pride in our legacy of service and sisterhood, which has prevailed since our chartering in 1936. It is a great privilege to lead a dynamic group of college-educated professional women dedicated to positively impacting the Fort Worth area and surrounding cities.

Our commitment to service is unwavering, guided by the inspiring vision of our 2022-2026 International President and CEO, Danette Anthony Reed. Operating under the powerful theme "Soaring to Greater Heights of Service and Sisterhood," our guiding force is the "Foundation Initiative" known as "Strengthen Our Sisterhood." This initiative acts as our compass as we passionately Empower Our Families, Build Our Economic Wealth, Enhance Our Environment, Advocate for Social Justice, and Uplift Our Community. By dedicating ourselves to these foundational principles, we strive to make a positive impact, improving the lives of individuals within our local communities.

We are the second oldest chapter in the DFW Metroplex area. For 88 years, the Beta Mu Omega Chapter has actively engaged in diverse service projects, from serving meals to supporting families during Thanksgiving and Christmas to providing academic scholarships. We have collaborated with esteemed local organizations such as Habitat for Humanity, American Heart Association, Tarrant Area Food Bank, Ronald McDonald House, Como Community of Hope, Open Doors for Women, ACT-SO, Lisa’s Learning Center, Rosedale Head Start & Child Development Center, the Presbyterian Night Shelter, and many more.

Our chapter members exemplify a profound commitment to community service and collaborative endeavors dedicated to empowering others. To discover more about our community initiatives or explore potential partnerships with Beta Mu Omega, we invite you to contact or connect with us on social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter.

Again, our heartfelt thanks for visiting our website. We encourage you to come back periodically for updates regarding our events and service projects.

In Dedicated Service, Committed to Excellence,

Annie Taylor-Curtis
