Class of 2012 Honorees

Overview

The Beta Mu Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated would like to encourage Class of 2013 seniors to participate in our 36th Annual Senior Recognition Program and Ivy Ball themed "Success Through Service".

It is our goal to recognize graduating seniors for their academic achievements, extracurricular involvement, community and civic service. We have also designed educational seminars highlighting college, career, and wellness programs. These activities will be beneficial to both the parents and honorees.


Orientation & Seminars

There will be an orientation April 28, 2012 at the Ella Mae Shamblee Library, located at 959 E. Rosedale St., Fort Worth, TX 76104

All of our seminars will be held twice a month on Saturdays beginning in May at Shamblee Library. Please continue to check the website for the exact time of the orientation and seminars.

All student seminars will be held at the Shamblee Library Branch monthly, beginning May 26. Save the dates: May 26, June 23, July 28, August 25, September 22, October 27, November 10, November 19 and 21. The recognition and ball is Saturday, November 24.


Who is Eligible for the Senior Recognition Program?

The Beta Mu Omega Senior Recognition Program is open to young women and young men who will begin their senior year in high school during the 2012 Fall Semester. You can view a detail list of guidleines and requirements in the Senior Recognition Program application.


Ivy Ball

The Senior Recognition Program culminates in an Ivy Ball, which celebrates the achievements of the participants. The Ivy Ball will be held on Saturday, November 24 at the Radisson Hotel Fort Worth-Fossil Creek located at 2450 Meacham Blvd., Fort Worth, TX 76106. The Ivy Ball is open to the community.

More information about ticket sales will be posted by October 1, 2012.
